Through Restart SCR, investing in a Golden Visa eligible fund, you can be eligible for a Golden Visa Application, but the residence permit depends on fulfilling all government requirements (investment, clean criminal record, documentation). The Golden Visa program is objective: if you invest the required amount, have no criminal record, and provide the correct documents, approval is the norm. Denials are extremely rare and typically tied to personal eligibility issues. However, fund rules will still apply even if your Golden Visa application is rejected.

The Golden Visa status itself does not grant any tax benefits. However, investors who become tax residents in Portugal may be eligible for special tax regimes, such as IFICI (NHR 2.0).
