Our funds are intended for subscription by those legally qualified as “professional investors” and by “non professional investors”. Investors are expected to have knowledge and/or experience of this type of product and the ability to bear losses up to the amount they have invested in our funds.
€250,000 is the fund minimum amount. However, under current Portuguese rules, to qualify for the Golden Visa you must invest at least €500,000. You can invest into multiple golden visa eligible investments to reach the €500,000 minimum, so we have set a lower minimum to allow for diversification.
No. Restart’s Golden Visa-eligible fund — capital is at risk. However, unlike speculative strategies, we invest in established Portuguese industrial companies with sound business models and tangible assets. This, combined with our team’s 30+ years of dealing with Portuguese’s SME provides expertise and confidence to preserve capital invested.
No. Our Golden Visa-eligible fund is a closed-end capitalization fund with a 8 term. Profits are reinvested to maximize value creation. Returns are distributed upon maturity of the fund.
The fund has a 8-year term aligned with the Golden Visa timeline. Early redemption is not possible.
